Class of 2019
Congratulations to the Class of 2019 for their impressive HSC performance.

Some outstanding results:
Bella Lamaro is our Distinction in Studies recipient with the highest ATAR of 99.85.
Twelve students were All Round Achievers receiving Band 6/E4 in at least 10 units studied: Cassandra Banks, Zoe Davidson, Angela Della-Franca, Jessica Fong, Madeleine Kan, Bella Lamaro, Fiona Martin, Francesca Owen, Laeticia Pajanacci, Emma Peers Tejero, Jacquelyn Reimer and Kimika Uehara.
Year 11 Accelerant Mathematics student, Natasha Ong achieved First Place in the State for Mathematics 2U with a result of 100 per cent.
A further 4 students gained places in the State:
Kimika Uehara - 3rd Chinese Continuers
Angela Della-Franca - 5th Italian Beginners
Jacquelyn Reimer - 5th Design & Technology
Madeleine Kan - 9th History Extension
100% of students attained a Band 6 in the following subjects: Chinese and Literature, Indonesian in Context, Japanese Continuers, Korean Beginners and Music 1.
75% of students attained a Band 6 in Chinese Continuers and History Extension.
There were additional strong performances with 50% or more of students in the highest Band: English Extension 1, Drama, English Advanced, Chinese in Context and Italian Beginners.
Three students were nominated for Design & Technology's SHAPE this year: Isabella Shiell, Grace Findlay and Jacquelyn Reimer.
Three students were nominated for Visual Art's ArtExpress this year: Isabel Coates, Hannah Dunn and Bella Lamaro. Both Hannah and Bella were subsequently selected for the showcase.
Fiona Martin was acknowledged in the honour roll of Encore 2019 for her Viva Voce in Music 1.

Some outstanding results:
Five students achieved All Round Achievers receiving Band 6/E4 in at least 10 units studied: Juliet Gollan, Scarlett Kroon, Eliza Murphy, Lucy Roberts-Lovell and Congxiao (Amanda) Zhu.
Head Girl, Lucy Roberts- Lovell placed 2nd in Studies of Religion 2 unit and is our Distinction in Studies recipient with the highest ATAR of 99.90.
100% of Chinese Continuers achieved in the Top band (Band 6).
100% of English Advanced, English Extension 1 and English Extension 2 achieved in the Top 2 bands.
100% of Design and Technology students achieved in the Top 2 bands.
100% of Visual Arts students achieved in the Top 2 bands.
96% of Mathematics Extension 1 students achieved in the Top 2 bands.
KRB placed 44th in the State based on the Distinguished Achievers List where the students achieved 141 mentions.
Three students were nominated for Design & Technology’s SHAPE this year: Isabella Alvarez, Tallulah Baran and Jessica Malouf.
We were ranked 19th in the State in English Advanced and Extensions 1 and 2. This is an outstanding result from the English Department who have consistently achieved impressive results in recent years. Our Mathematics General 2 Course ranked 23rd in the State.
Approximately 36% of our students gained an ATAR over 90 and approximately 16% of the students achieved a rank over 95.
77% of the cohort ranked in the top 20% of the approximate 70,000 students across the State completing their HSC in 2018.

Class of 2017
KRB is now the top ranked Catholic School in NSW based on The Sydney Morning Herald Band 6 ranking. Overall, it is KRB's best result since the new HSC system began in 2001.
Highlights include:
• KRB achieved 205 Distinguished Achievers mentions
• KRB was ranked 28th in the State based on our number of Distinguished Achievers mentions
• 13 students were State All Round Achievers based on achieving Band 6s in 10 Units. This is 13% of the 2017 Class
• Approximately 29% of our students gained an ATAR over 95
• 5% gained an ATAR over 99
• The Distinction in Studies Award Winner/Dux of the Class of 2017 was Isabella Monardo with an ATAR of 99.80
• Helena Brunker achieved 3rd place in English Extension 1 and 10th place in Studies of Religion II
• Georgia Boonen achieved 7th place in English Extension 2
• Isabella Monardo achieved 3rd place in History Extension
• Anne Reddick achieved 5th place in History Extension and 19th place in Modern History
• Amy O'Reilly achieved 8th place in Studies of Religion II
• Lily Fuller achieved 8th place in Design & Technology
In terms of English Advanced and Extension KRB was ranked 8th in the State. For English Standard and ESL KRB was ranked 6th in the State. English is the only HSC course that is compulsory for all students in NSW.
In terms of Mathematics, Extension 1 and Extension 2 we were ranked 28th in the State. For Mathematics General 2 KRB was ranked 43rd in the State.
